Questions fréquentes
In Switzerland, dental care is billed according to the official Dentotar tariff.
Each treatment corresponds to specific acts, each expressed in points.
The final amount is obtained by multiplying the total number of points by the point value applied by the practice.
A treatment includes several acts totalling 577 points.
If the practice's point value is CHF 1.13, the calculation is as follows: 577 × 1.13 = CHF 652.01.
The final amount therefore corresponds to the total number of points multiplied by the practice's point value.
The amounts shown on the website are estimates.
As each clinical situation is different, only a personalised quote established after an examination can determine the cost of a treatment.
In Switzerland, compulsory health insurance (LAMal) only covers dental care in clearly defined medical situations provided for by law.
Outside of these indications, dental care may be partially or fully covered by supplementary insurance, depending on the terms of the contract.
All other treatments remain the patient's responsibility.
In the canton of Valais, children and adolescents may benefit from a cantonal subsidy managed by the SDJ (Youth Dental Care scheme).
This subsidy covers a portion of recognised treatments, notably conservative care up to age 18, and certain orthodontic treatments up to age 16, based on defined medical criteria.
Our team is happy to inform you about the conditions and procedures.
For anxious or phobic patients, or those requiring complex or lengthy treatments, our specialists can offer – depending on the indication – care under conscious sedation with MEOPA or, in some cases, under general anaesthesia, in a safe environment.
This option may also be offered to people with disabilities.
When general anaesthesia is indicated, care is provided in a hospital setting, in collaboration with specialised teams.
At Pure Clinic, these treatments are handled in partnership with Rennaz Hospital, in a safe medical environment, with an anaesthesiologist and a dedicated team present.
Our rates are available on the "Pricing" page of our website.
For any questions or for an estimate tailored to your situation, you can also contact the practice of your choice.
